    COVID Relief III Student Grant Request Form
  • COVID Relief III Student Grant funds are available to students to help cover emergency expenses due to coronavirus such as tuition, books, housing, food, health care (including mental), childcare and transportation. These funds can also help with financial insecurities experienced by the loss of employment or reduced income. This online form is for students to request grant funds for COVID emergency expenses.

     

    Grant Amount 

    $1,500*

    *Students who received an automatic $1,500 COVID Relief III Grant through the FASFA/TASFA or CE FA Application, cannot request an additional grant; students are limited to a maximum of $1,500 per semester.

     

    Grant Request Form Student Eligibility

    To be eligible, you must:

    1.       Demonstrate Enrollment at the Time of Disbursement:

    ·        Credit Hour Enrollment Standard – be enrolled in at least 1 credit hour for Summer 2022 or

    ·        Continuing Education Enrollment Standard – be enrolled in at least 16 workforce education continuing education contact hours for Quarter 3 2022, and

    2.       Declare Exceptional Need or Significant Unexpected Expenses on This Request Form:

    ·        Demonstrate exceptional need with an additional emergency cost(s) due to the coronavirus, such as tuition, books, food, housing, health care (including mental), childcare or transportation, or

    ·        Have faced significant unexpected expenses that affect your financial circumstances, such as the loss of employment or reduced income, and

    3.       Have not already received a COVID Relief III Grant for the semester or quarter.

     

    Grant Approval and Delivery

    1.       Student Financial Aid Services (SFAS) will review your request and notify you of a final decision.

    2.       All grants will disburse to students through BankMobile. Please make sure you have activated a refund preference on BankMobile’s Refund Choices website.

    3.       Grant disbursements are issued to students approximately two weeks prior to the term or approximately one week after being awarded, whichever is later. COVID Relief III Grant refunds are processed twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
